Membership

The SDA conference is a membership meeting, and all participants must be members of SDA.

You must be a member of Surface Design Association to register for the conference. If you are not a member, you may join when you send in your registration form. Please see the inside back cover of this brochure for membership information.


Volunteer

A conference of this size can only happen with the help of many volunteers. This is your chance to be a part of the conference. Volunteers are needed before and after the conference as well as for two-hour shifts during the conference.

If you are interested in becoming an active part of the conference, please check the volunteer box on the registration form and our volunteer coordinator will contact you to discuss available opportunities.

Day Pass $150 (Vendor Fair, lectures, concurrent sessions, Friday gallery transportation)
Vendor Pass $10 (entrance to Vendor Fair only)


Full Conference Registration Includes

Conference Registration includes:

  • Entrance into all conference events June 2 - June 5
  • Thursday regional breakfast
  • Thursday, welcome reception and dinner
  • Friday bus transportation to and around Crossroads Gallery District
  • Saturday transportation to Uptown Theater, dinner and Fashion Show performance

Workshop Registration

Workshop registration fees for each workshop are listed on workshop pages. Registration for all preconference and post-conference workshops is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please indicate three choices, in order of preference, in both preconference and post-conference sections. You will be assigned to the first-available workshop.

Conference and workshop registration will start Monday, January 3, 2005. All workshop registrations received prior to this date and those received between January 3Ð10 will go into a pool for random selection to assure that workshop assignments are fair. Registrations received after January 10 will be honored on a first-come first-serve basis.

Supply fees are listed by each workshop description. The supply fees will be collected on the first day of your workshop.


Trunk Show Registration

Table rental at the trunk show is $50. Trunk Show registrants will receive a complete packet of information with your conference information. The deadline for the Trunk Show is March 1, 2005, or until all spaces are filled.


Vendor Registration

10' x 10' vendor booths are $375 for the first and $300 for each additional table space. For complete vendor information, contact Briony Foy: brionyfoy@uwalumni.com or 608-236-0444.


Refund/Cancellation/Change Policy

We encourage you to send a qualified substitute if you cannot attend. A refund of registration fees minus a $25 administrative fee will be available if requested in writing and received by April 15, 2005. After that date, no refunds will be made. SDA reserves the right to cancel the event and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of SDA is limited to the registration fee. SDA will not be responsible for any losses incurred by the registrants, including, but not limited to, airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.


NOTE: All changes to a confirmed reservation are subject to a $25 administration fee.
