Your contributions to the Surface Design Association are vital for the continuation of our programs and projects. With your support, we are better able to serve your interests by providing the most current and relevant information through our publications, conferences, and workshops.

Members can apply for a grant or award offered by SDA. Our organization funds local exhibitions, supports students and emerging artists, and provides scholarships for personal development.

SDA continually seeks the support of the members it serves, particularly at the local level. Being a volunteer offers opportunities to attend our conferences and events where you can connect with other members of the textile arts community, learn new skills, and accelerate your creative growth.

SDA Swatch Collections are a unique educational & inspirational source of hands-on information about textile surface design technques. SDA members can reserve a collection for their next classroom or local meeting.
