SDA Newsletter
The 24-page quarterly SDA Newsletter keeps members current on technical developments and professional practices. Regular features include "ShopTalk," a how-to section that includes "From the Studio," explaining an artist's use of a particular technique, and "Q&A" answering questions on techniques and materials; a "Safety" column addressing questions on health and safety issues; "Vendor's Forum," introducing new textile products and services; "Business Bites," covering aspects of business; plus listings of professional opportunities, competition deadlines, and new publications. Four issues of the Newsletter are included as part of the annual membership. Because receiving Newsletters is a member benefit, SDA does not sell back issues of the Newsletters.
