Serve on the Board of Directors

SDA Board members are the stewards of our association’s future. Board members set policy and work together to expand opportunities and services on behalf of our membership. If serving appeals to you, we welcome your participation.

If you would like to be considered for a board seat, please send a letter of interest to the Executive Director at executivedirector [at] surfacedesign [dot] org (subject: Serving%20on%20SDA%20Board%20of%20Directors) . Describe your background and expertise and highlight areas where you hope to contribute.

Board members serve for at least 2 years, attend 1 board meeting per year, participate in monthly conference calls, provide written reports on project progress, may chair a committee or project team and may be actively involved in fund-raising for SDA.

There are 4 Executive Board member positions:
     President
     Vice President
     Treasurer
     Secretary

In addition to the Executive Committee, there are 8 additional board seats.
