Embrace the Mess, 2020
Natural fiber textile, dyed, printed, appliqued and stitched 16"W X 22"H
This piece is from my series "Meditations for a Pandemic". Each piece was based on a quote instilling hope within fear, this one being Leonard Cohen's definition of Hallelujah. "This world is full of conflicts.... of things that cannot be reconciled, but there are moments when we can transcend the dualistic system and reconcile and embrace the whole mess, and that's what I mean by "Hallelujah."
