Painting Silk Scarves with a Botanical Motif with Debra Dolsberry

This workshop teaches silk painting using transparent dyes, Resistad and other water-soluble resists. Working with the primaries magenta, yellow, blue, plus black, students will explore color theory as they learn to mix transparent color both on and off the silk. Painting techniques of layering transparent colors over other transparent colors will be demonstrated.
