Image Statement: A few years ago, I worked on a project that focused on endangered insects which led friends to share photographs of a variety of striking bugs with me. One such photo introduced me to the Peacock Spider, an extraordinary Australian species known for its dazzling colors and patterns as well as its wild mating dance.
