Image Statement: What one defines as their neighborhood is different than the person who lives next door might see it. This piece is inspired by a map I was visually excited by. It illustrates the wide variety of space one calls home. The transparent colors change as they overlap and cause a color shift. and make the colors float on the stitched background. The blanket stitch emphasizes the borders.
