Image Statement: 'Crescendo' is an metaphoric expression of the music "Bolero" by Ravel. Each section of the orchestra is introduced while the snare drums intensify the rhythm. The two distinct melodies are alternated until the orchestra comes fully together. This music intensifies as each round increases in volume over 16- 18 minutes creating a rather meditative ensnarling of the listener--ending abruptly in a very abrupt Crescendo!
