Image Statement: Documenting life in my pollinator garden is an ongoing project. In this series cyanotype coated silk is exposed in sun using summer flowers and dew from the grass plus butterfly stencils. Sun and water are essential to this process and to the life cycle of fireflies. My home near the Bark River is the perfect environment for water loving insects. Glo thread records the flight patterns which is backlit with tiny lights.
