Methods will include lashing techniques, casting handmade flax fiber paper and applying paper to structures. Demonstrations and problem-solving challenges will lead to a focused personal project. All levels welcome!
Instructor provides the following materials: flax, window screen, PVA glue, rattan, waxed linen thread, resource list.
This workshop is well-suited for adults and there is no prior experience necessary with paper-making or sculpture. This class is really designed to help you overcome your inner-critic and to have fun!
