Introduction to Stranding a Turkish Hat Knitting with Celeste Nossiter
Using traditional Turkish motifs for inspiration, learn stranded knitting holding one yarn in each hand. Design your own unique hat by choosing colors and motifs. Celeste will guide you through this traditional technique and show you how to fit motifs and designs onto your hat. It’s much easier than it looks!
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Class Fee: $90 + tax = $96.86 (cash or check made out to Fiber Arts on 4th)
Materials: 16” circular needles size 2 or 3, stitch markers, 5-6 partial skeins of highly contrasting solid colors of fingering weight wool.
Student Count: 3 to 8
Age Appropriate: 18+
Students Should Bring: Note taking materials. Bag lunch, drinks, snacks for yourself.
