Knit Democracy Together: Counting the Vote
Gather with civically minded knitters crafters to deepen your understanding of the electoral system. Artist and former election lawyer Eve Jacobs-Carnahan will talk about how activist knitters have been raising awareness of issues in society for decades. She’ll share her knowledge of the electoral system and engage you in discussion about ways to strengthen democracy. While you gain new insights, you’ll be able to stitch pieces of a community banner stating democratic principles for the Warren Fourth of July Parade.
