OXH GALLERY is pleased to present Weave a Tale featuring Japanese textile artist Misako Nakahira whose work promotes a one-to-one relationship with onlookers through unique materiality and subtle textural shifts offering ample opportunity for visitors to contemplate how Nakahiri’s overlaying fabrics interact like two converging waves of water to communicate something complex and profound.

The exhibited works CROSSING and INTERACTION reflect Nakahira’s desire to express not only the layering of lines and colors but also the relationships between people and objects. Like towels swaying in the wind, these relationships are fluid, dynamic, and ever-changing.
