These days there is a lot to worry about. Post covid recovery is slow, two terrible wars, unclear financial futures, environmental degradation, paralyzed Congress, just to name a few issues. This piece reflects the disturbances with many slits and discontinuities in the weaving. However, it is hopeful that we will return to some kind of normality, slowly and with improvements as new generations come along.

Pandemic Passage captures the feelings I experienced during the early days of the pandemic. The void, the dichotomies, the passage of time and space, the hope for the future dimmed. As I worked on it, it became a very hopeful piece and, indeed, a cathartic effort. I hope the viewer will find the same healing vibes in it.
