Traditional knotted netting is the technique used to make this 3-D net. Each piece is net over a toothpick with an antique needle. Then stiffened & shaped, mounted on black fabric & displayed in shadowbox frame.

Cotton thread, acrylic eye 19” x 21” x 1.5”
Done in traditional knotted technique with an antique fishing needle over a toothpick to achieve very fine netting. It is handpainted on the body, shaped & stiffened into 3-D form. Mounted on cotton fabric in shadowbox frame.
