Used cloth salvaged from various items purchased in thrift shops. Comprising mostly denim and woven cotton cloth. Approx: 120cm (cuff to cuff across shoulders) x 80cm
Following on womens domestic traditions of remaking and maintaining clothes this coat was made from discarded clothes found in thrift shops. Fabrics were printed and patchworked together to construct a new werable garment.

Yellow Moons in Red Sky, 2022
Used cloth upcycled from a cotton quilt that was stenciled, painted, patchworked and hand stitched. Surface embellished on back side as the garment is wearable. Approx: 120cm (cuff to cuff across shoulders) x 80cm
Colours were by inspired by widespread bushfires around Australia in 2019 and prints were developed from nature sketches I made visiting some of the burned out areas a few months later.
