I am a textile artist working with fabric, thread, paper, and photography. My work is inspired by the Hudson River and Cabrini Woods that are my immediate surroundings in Northern Manhattan. They are part of the texture of the city I love so well – Manhattan is not all skyscrapers and subways. In this city that is never still, I have created work that draws you close. It is work without noise and distractions. This is my refuge. My meditation.
