Silk cocoon, thread, wire and LED lights, mobile This art work is a Kinetic sculpture. It is created using hand-dyes silk cocoons which are sewn with a thread painting technique over water soluble stabilizer and attached to wire to form each leaf. Copper LED lights are sewn on each leaf.
