Image Statement: Moving blankets, when deconstructed, serve as anti-quilts offering little protection or warmth. The meticulous ripping and tearing process exposes “the meat,” a toxic blend of recycled chemical and natural fibers. Although recycled, their life cycle is a momentary blip in a circular economy that is dependent on invisible labor.
