Image Statement: I gave an azalea to my mother for Mother's Day in Calgary 1962. I resolved then to live in a place in Canada that grew them! I moved to Vancouver Island in 1994 and I have been growing and caring for them ever since!  Happily they grow everywhere in our condominium gardens so I continue to enjoy them to this day. This is my macro photo of an azalea I visit on my daily walks.
