Image Statement: During the height of the pandemic in 2020, the minister of my church gave us the opportunity to create personal communion altars for our virtual services. It was a special time for me to bring my creativity and spirituality together with my textile art and ceramics in these indoor and outdoor altars. For this one, I was moved to experiment with an outdoor installation in the haven of my backyard.
