Image Statement: Multiple layers of mulberry paper (one with photo transfers) were wet-felted together (Joomchi), cut into strips, woven, tied, and shaped into two boats. The boats were tied together end-to-end at an angle. When hung from the ceiling "Skeleton Crew" will turn in the air and cast shadows on the wall to add dimension to the piece.
