This workshop is for both beginner and intermediate basketmakers, where you will learn or review basic basket weaving techniques such as twining, over/under and chase weaving on the first day to create a market basket. On the second day, participants will start with a basic rectangular base and then choose how you wish to weave up the sides. Pamela will bring a selection of reed, some dyed, for you to choose from, to create your unique storage basket. Everyone will leave with at least two useful, completed baskets. All levels are welcome, but moderate hand strength is required.
