Image Statement: My work is inspired by The Coming Of Wisdom With Time – Poem by William Butler Yeats. “Though leaves are many, the root is one; Through all the lying days of my youth I swayed my leaves and flowers in the sun; Now I may wither into the truth.” During the pandemic, I created this piece as an expression of yearning for community. Just as no tree stands alone but rather forms a forest, we thrive in togetherness. My father greatly influenced the development of my literary imagination. Inspired by the English poems he translated, I interwove this verse into my own creation, "Trees in Late Autumn," in 2020, symbolizing our intertwined path.
