Join us for Ateliê da Luz, an intimate 8-day textile art retreat in Portugal led by textile artist Marta Afonso. Beginning in Lisbon and continuing in the mountain village of Cerdeira, this immersive experience invites participants to slow down, reconnect with their creativity, and explore the art of traditional textile printing.

Through hands-on workshops, participants will learn block-printing techniques while developing their own creative projects in a supportive and inspiring environment. Surrounded by Portugal’s natural beauty, local culture, and thoughtful hospitality, the retreat combines artistic exploration with meaningful connection, rest, and cultural immersion.

Open to artists, makers, and curious creatives of all experience levels. Group size is intentionally small to create a personal and enriching experience.
