Captures a young artist at the start of his creative journey. This detailed portrait in hand stitch represents, the tension between precision and possibility, much like the art of directing. The side profile emphasizes his movement into an unseen future. The simplicity of the composition is in contrast to the depth of the subject's ambition. It speaks of a quiet determination, focus and vision. This pieces in part of my exploration into human nature, identity and expression.
