Homeless people decorate city streets with sad reminders of the deep poverty that permeates the underbelly. Race and income are among the greatest divides in the US today, and regrettably, the two go hand in hand. Come on America, we can do better than this.

These ordinary lily pads traveled from a digital shot to a computer in search of their inner voice. First, digital art revealed new vibrant colors, and then lines surfaced picking up their rhythm. Finally, they were recreated in fiber where textures and dimensions opened more doors to their inner voice that they knew had been there all along.

Sometimes all we really need is to connect with other beings who care about us. Background noise and assorted details are irrelevant. At the core we’re all seeking love in at least one of its many forms. For a brief moment this man found it on his cell phone with a close friend and his trusty dog. The world stopped, and he was at peace.
