Dragonfly Study was based on a reoccurring dream I had where the sky swirling above me in a vortex. It wasn't a fear based dream, just intriguing. The copper dragonfly came to my backyard and spoke to me with his pattering wings one summer night. He was a gorgeous sight that inspired me to paint and join in my most recent vortex dream.
