This work is a handwoven burial shroud to commemorate an unidentified woman whose body was found on June 6, 1990 by a man horseback riding. She was found in sagebrush a quarter mile west of Highway 93A, two miles south of West Wendover, Nevada. She was wearing a purple polyester pantsuit. Investigators believe she was 50-59 years old.

The Shroud of Bitter Creek Betty, 2022

This work is a handwoven burial shroud to commemorate a homicide victim. This site-specific documentation is at the location where her body was found. On March 1, 1992 a truck driver discovered the body of Bitter Creek Betty at the bottom of a slope on an I-80 turnout known as "Bitter Creek" in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. She was found lying face-down, and her body may have been dumped from a truck 1-5 months prior to discovery. In May 2020, Clark Perry Baldwin, a truck driver from Iowa was arrested for the death of Bitter Creek Betty based on DNA evidence. On May 5, 2025 Bitter Creek Betty was publicly identified as Irene Vasquez.

A Shroud for Tonya Teske, 2021

This work is a handwoven burial shroud to commemorate Tonya Teske whose murder remains unsolved. This site-specific documentation is at the location where her body was found. On August 15, 1997 a long haul trucker's wife who was riding shotgun spotted the nude body of Tonya Teske along the southbound on ramp of Highway 20 in Ucon, Idaho. She was originally from Shoshoni, Wyoming. She was last seen leaving the Cinnamon Lodge near Big Sky, Montana. Her case remains unsolved.
