Should is from a body of work called Turning Basin which takes its name from the deep water channel at the head of the San Joaquin River. It reflects a highly altered environment and invites exploration from both birds’ eye and landscape views. It suggests activities both oversized and human scaled and asks us to consider our citizenship on the earth.
