Wrapped rock with pink triangle, 2024
ecodyed canvas and netting, rock, nylon fabric, ecodyed twine 16" h x 12" w x 8" d
I explore themes of memory, loss, preservation and ecology. My gathered flowers, plants, and rust objects are printed on fabric to cover rocks or soft sculptures. Then, I use stitch and twine to bind the cloth and rocks together, perhaps to protect these bits of precious earth.
