This is a combined artwork with stitching, pen and ink drawing , collage and crochet. It combines several directions in my work utilizing line to express, thought, ideas and memories. This is in memory of a young friend that took her own life. It is now a promised gift from the collector who owns this to the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian in memory of another collector and fiber curator. es. This was created after a young friend of mine took her own life, thus the title "Goodbye my Friend " in her memory and is now a promised gift of a collector that owns this to the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian
