Boro Grid brings together almost everything I love to do: stitch together scraps of fabric, and glue things. Both of these processes are the way I explore pattern + design, color relationships, materiality, and the world in which I live: a rural place in a very slow lane. The world beyond keeps poking the borders of my home place. The approach to making exemplified by Boro Grid provides me with a way to translate all that invasive chaos, and to do so in a constructive way.
