(EM)power (EM)brace (EM)body

We’re revamping our Premium Member Online Exhibitions! Introducing Selections, we’re proud to support and celebrate the work of our premium members. SDA members with Premium Membership are automatically included for consideration in Selections.

(EM)power (EM)brace (EM)body, our Fall 2022 Selections Online Exhibition will include artists whose work explores concepts of bodies from social, political, and psychological points of view. Artworks included may consider the body as a site for liberation, reclamation, or empowerment. From body autonomy to traditional constructs of beauty and gender, works about the body can be deeply personal and/or challenge, dismantle, and speak to larger societal structures.
