Image Statement: Rising Spirit was created in memory of my mother’s youngest brother who had suddenly passed away. My experience of attending a funeral of a dear family member in Japan was so moving to me, that this theme and imagery stayed with me for many years to come. Exhibited at Myogei Gallery, Kyoto, Japan ( Also exhibited in The Next Wave exhibit / SDA award. )
