Image Statement: Baby Blue reflects on the strange feeling of loss after birth, when the baby who grew inside my body is suddenly outside it. The larger and smaller forms remain connected, but occupy separate spaces. Fine fibres stretch between and through them, suggesting both closeness and the beginning of separation. I made the figures almost transparent, like a memory of being one body.
