Image Statement: This is a detail of my tapestry that was inspired from the view of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge in the city of Monrtreal, Canada, on the Saint-Lawrence River. Since 1974 I weave textile art with lighting effects from fiber optics that are animated with a microcontroler that I programmed to make the colours change with the sound of clapping hands. This tapestry was woven on a TC2 Jacquard loom.
