Join Pat Pauly for this five-day workshop where we print large scale fabric throughout the week. With a myriad of printing techniques using fiber reactive dye on fabric, we’ll use large graphics to produce whole cloth works. Silk screen, monoprint, stencil – along with a few more techniques – are used to print large images that can become the finished whole cloth. The class will rely on value as well as color to pull prints that relate, and graphics that will produce fabric for use in quilts, clothing, or textile art. Knowledge of dye processes helpful but not critical. This class is for those at the beginner level as well as a platform for those experienced with printing.
