Miami Fiber Triennial’s Memories Woven into the City foregrounds textiles as a shared surface that carries histories of migration, labor, tradition, and adaptation. Through weaving, stitching, and material intervention, the exhibition explores the city as a woven space shaped by memory, identity, displacement, community, and belonging within contemporary American life. The works reveal how textiles can function simultaneously as material, language, and archive, preserving traces of both personal and collective experience.
